Welcome to Hoverboard Store delivery page.  We strive ourselves in offering free delivery, offering the best logistic service.

We work with many different UK delivery companies, ensuring parcels are delivered safe and quickly, we use DPD, DX, Hermes, and Royal Mail.

All orders and dispatched and sent by 3pm, the cut off time for next day delivery is 3pm.

Items under £40 will be sent via Hermes/Royal Mail and will take up to 2-3 working days to arrive – Tracking will be sent to you via email.

Items over £40 will be sent via DPD/DX and will arrive next working day. Tracking will be sent via email and a signature is required upon delivery. A delivery time slot will be also sent to the email.

Items must be placed before 3pm to be eligible for next working day delivery, working days include Monday-Friday excluding weekends and bank holidays.

There are however a few exceptions to the standard delivery terms which take up to 3-3-4 working days. These are:

  • UK islands, e.g. Isle of Wight, Jersey, Isle of Jura, etc.
  • Northern Ireland.
  • Parts of the Scottish Highlands.
  • Parts of Scotland

Next day express delivery – £5.99

Orders placed before 5.30pm Mon-Fri are dispatched from our warehouse the same day, for next working day delivery via our couriers DPD. Please note this service will not deliver on a Saturday, please use the Saturday Delivery option for that.

UK Saturday Delivery – £12.99

Orders placed before 3pm Friday are dispatched from our warehouse the same day, for the following Saturday delivery via our couriers DPD.

My item is not faulty, can I return it?

Please contact our customer services through the contact us form and they will be able to help on how to return non-faulty items, a return address and returns form will be supplied, you would be required to fill out the information. Return postage is not covered, we recommend using a tracked delivery in case it is damaged/missing. The product will remain your responsibility until it is handed over to the returns warehouse. We strictly do not accept responsibility for damaged or lost goods.  The cost of the product will be refunded within 14 days and may take up to 5-7 working days to clear.

My item is faulty, can I return it?

In an unlikely event if the product arrives or develops a fault, you have 30 days to return it. Parcels or items damage in transit must be reported immediately within 48 hours to Hoverboard Store, if the deadline passes for reporting parcels, we will not be able to issue a refund or replacement goods. To make a damaged goods claim, please send a picture of the outer, inner box, picture of damage, inner packaging along with the parcel label.

Please contact customer service team for the return address and returns which will need to be supplied with the item returned. We will email a pre-paid label if the item is faulty within the first 30 days, the label will need to be printed and dropped off to a parcel shop. We do not offer collections for all returns.

After 30 days, the buyer is responsible for returning the item, and the costs incurred for the returned

How long will the refund take?

We issue refunds within 14 working days (most likely earlier). The cost of your product will be refunded to the credit/debit card used to make the purchase. Please note refunds take 5-7 working days to clear from the point of processing.

How long is the warranty on the hoverboard?

We offer a 12-month UK warranty for all hoverboards. Please click here for more details on the full

What does the warranty cover?

The hoverboard warranty covers any electrical or mechanical faults. Due to the nature of the
product, we are not accountable for misuse of the product.

What does the warranty not cover?

The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse; theft, aesthetic damages, paint scratches,
general wear and tear, damage due to attempt of repairs; or modifying the board, components or
charger accessories in any way. As- well as water damage, failure to charge hoverboard after 30
days, and impact damage.

What components and certificates does your hoverboard have?

The Hoverboard Store Balance Boards consists of UL/UK Standard Charger, German TaoTao
Mainboard, 36v Jet Tech UL tested battery. We have the full certifications which are all CE and UL
passed.

What charger is supplied with the hoverboard?

Our hoverboards come with the UL/UK tested hoverboard which has been tested to the UL227
Standard.

Is the hoverboard heavy to carry?

The hoverboard weighs 8kg and 13kg hoverboard. Carry bag are available and make it easier to carry
around.

How do you connect the Bluetooth to the hoverboard?

It’s simple as 123! Phone Settings – Search and Select Bluetooth Name – Play your favourite Music.

How do you reset the hoverboard?

Hoverboards require to be reset from time to time when you crash or the red lights flash. Without
moving your hoverboard, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Ignore all flashing lights
and beeps within these 10 seconds. Then let go of the power button and turn the hoverboard off.
The hoverboard is now reset and ready to be turned on. For full reset instructions check out our

How long does the hoverboard take to charge?

A full charge of your board requires a maximum charge of 2-3 hours until the charger light
turns green. However, please bear in mind over charging the hoverboard and leaving it on
charge overnight can lead to risk of depleting the battery or overheating the hoverboard.

What is the difference between the 6.5” and 8.5” Hoverboard?

The differences include wheel motor size, shell and performance. Please check our comparison table
here which gives a greater insight.

What is the difference between racer and monster hoverkarts?

The Racer kart is smaller and suited for children.
The monster kart has a smoother performance, larger seat, is more durable and has a quicker
suspension.

What hoverboard bundles are suited for my child?

Kids love new toys! Our Racer Bundles are suited for all children up to 12 years. They are the perfect
gift. Our Monster bundles are targeted at 12 years and upwards as they have more speed and are
very popular. If your anxious about the speed, please be reassured as all our boards are safe and
have been tested. All our boards have full certifications which are all CE and UL passed. Your child’s
safety is guaranteed and comes first!

-What is the minimum and maximum user weight for the hoverboard?

Our boards can hold the minimum weight is 30kg and maximum weight is 100kg, anything over this
can sometimes cause issues with the weight sensors that are used to operate the board.

Are hoverboards safe?

At Hoverboard Store we provide tested CE and UL whereas other websites usually do not offer
further testing. All of our products are safe to use and have been tested individually before
dispatched.

Can I use my hoverboard on the grass?

Well, this all depends on the height of the grass! If the grass is 8.5 inches, then yes you can ride your
board. However, anything over 8.5 inches is not recommended. Please bear in mind the grass must
be dry to protect your hoverboard.

What happens If I leave the hoverboard on charge overnight?

Leaving the hoverboard on charge overnight leads risk of overheating and damage to the board.

What is the maximum range on the hoverboard?

The maximum range varies between 6-9km depending on use

Can I use my hoverboard inside the house?

Yes! And you can also use the hoverboard on carpets. However, please remember the 6.5 models
may struggle on thick rugs.

Can I use my hoverboard in wet conditions?

No, the hoverboard should not be used in wet conditions, as this can damage the board. This is also
not covered under your warranty.

How long does the hoverboard last on one charge?

The battery life of your hoverboard depends on your usage and many other factors. For example,
without the hoverkart the battery usage can last up to 1.5 hours without charging. Our hoverboards
only require 2-3 hours maximum to charge.

Can I ride my hoverboard on the road?

Yes, you can use your hoverboard on the roads, but it must be on a private land. This is because in
the UK they are deemed as illegal to ride due to Motor Laws.

Can I ride my hoverboard through puddles?

No! water damages the board and using it through puddles can cause damage, this will VOID your
warranty.

How much does a hoverboard cost?

A safe UK TESTED Hoverboard ranges from £159.99 TO £299.99 depending on the model. Prices and
availability of items can be changed due to high demand.

What hoverboards are safe to buy?

All of our hoverboards are safe and have been tested by manufacturers.

What is the best hoverboard for a 12-year-old child?

What age is appropriate for a hoverboard?

We recommend children over 4 and upwards can use a hoverboard. Safety first so always ensure
