By purchasing online or offline from hoverboardstore.co.uk you are entering into and agreeing to the following contractual agreement, also known as our Terms and Conditions.
These terms and conditions regulate the Agreement between “you” the customer and Hoverboard Store (hereinafter referred to as “hoverboardstore.co.uk“)
Customers have the right to cancel their order after placing it. Customers must contact us via email to cancel an order and a full refund will be processed within 14 days (this only applies if the order has not been shipped), all funds will be refunded to card/payment source provided at time of purchase. If order has been booked with courier on our side at time of cancellation customer will be charged the postage costs, free shipping options will incur a £9.70 charge.
Where details have been input incorrectly these must be raised in writing with our customer service team. It is not guaranteed that any amendments can be changed to an order once it has been confirmed.

You have 14 days to cancel your order under our 14 day return period, which starts on the day you received the item. All items must be returned unused and in the original packaging as they were in when received by you. Please ensure all security seals and tags are still intact. If good(s) have been used or damaged then we are unable to accept any return.Any items used cannot be exchanged or refunded.
You’ll need to provide the following details with your consignment. It will be down to the customer to cover the cost of return postage for unwanted goods. Goods must still be sealed in original packaging.

Any item you have accepted is your responsibility to arrange postage back to us until it reaches our warehouse. Please therefore ensure that you send your item back to us using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. As soon as the item is back with us and has undergone routine checks, we’ll be able to take your case further and either exchange, repair or refund your item as agreed. Please note, it can take up to 28 days for a return to be processed once we have received your consignment.
Once an order has been cancelled or returned for a refund the process can take up to 14 working days. Please note we only accept returns from the person who brought the items(s). Please note if the hoverboard has been used or is damaged then we will not issue a refund, the item will be repaired under the 12 months warranty or replaced if deemed to have a manufacturers fault.
In the unlikely event that our Products arrive damaged we will require clear images of the damages to the Product, packaging and shipping label to investigate and find a resolve. Failure to provide any images will void any resolve that we can offer.
Any Damages/Delays/Missing Products must be raised with our customer service team within 5 days of the selected delivery date. Any issues raised after this time may not be eligible for a refund or compensation.
We will take reasonable steps to meet the delivery date and time set out on the Confirmation or as otherwise agreed between us in writing. However, occasionally delivery may be affected by factors beyond our control and so cannot be guaranteed. We will let you know if we become aware of an unexpected delay and will arrange a new delivery date and/or time with you. Deliveries are made within a 1-2 day delivery window.
Our Delivery courier is DPD
We are not liable for any delivery issues caused by DPD such as delays, damage, loss. However, we endeavour to understand and resolve any issues on your behalf.
DPD will provide you with an hour delivery window on the day of delivery via email and SMS message. You must ensure that your details are accurate to receive these notifications.
If you are not home/at the delivery location at the time of delivery DPD will leave your order on your doorstep/lobby unless a safe place has been requested directly with them. If the driver doesn’t feel that it is appropriate to leave your order, they will in some cases take this back to the depot and attempt to redeliver the following day. DPD will take a photo as proof of delivery. If you are not in on your selected date a refund will not be available. If you do not leave a clear note with DPD and the delivery is missed, we are not liable.
If you have input your address incorrectly DPD will not be able to reach you, this is your responsibility to ensure all details are correct before placing your order. We are not liable for any errors and cannot offer any compensation for this.
If DPD have caused any damage during transit and you want us to investigate on your behalf we require clear images of all damage to the Product, outer packaging and shipping label as outlined in the clause
Our hoverboards come with 1 year manufacturer’s warranty to cover the any electrical or mechanical faults. Due to the nature of the product, we cannot be held responsible for misuse.
Board, charger or accessory must be free of any damage and/or seals must be intact or else warranty void, this includes water damage and misuse. In the last 11 months of the warranty the buyer must cover the postage back to us, we will cover it on return (after being repair), so effectively splitting the costs. Please note the warranty is only valid if the product is charged every 30 days in order to maintain a minimum battery charge level. If upon examination, it is discovered that the battery within the product has not been charged then the overall product warranty will be void as it can cause an effect on other components as well as the battery. Due to the nature of the product, we cannot be held responsible for the misuse of the product or accessories. The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse; theft, aesthetic damages, paint scratches, general wear and tear, damage due to attempt of repairs; or modifying the board, components or charger accessories in any way.
Board, charger and any accessories must be free of any damage caused by misuse and/or seals must be intact or else warranty is void.
The battery life depends on many factors such as the riders weight, use, how often it is charged, and if it used with the hoverkart or not.
The battery life lasts on average between 25-45 minutes with the hoverkart in use.
- 1 year full UK manufacturers warranty on vehicle body
- 3 month full UK manufacturers warranty for the battery
- 3 month full UK manufacturers warranty for rear wheel and other consumables
What is not covered?
- General wear and tear
- Scratching to the outer casing
- Damage to the hardware, electronics or casing caused by impact
- Damage to the hardware, electronics or casing caused by dropping the board
- Any damage caused by collision or accident during use

If a fault develops in the first 35 days of purchase, hoverboard store will send a pre-paid label and will cover the postage back. Please note this is not applicable for refunds. Please note that we do not cover any shipping costs for refund requests. For exchanges, the replacement item will be shipped out free of charge.
Please note, it can take up to 28 days from the receipt of the item for a repaired item to be processed and returned back to the customer
Damage caused by transit
Understanding the frustration of receiving a damage item once received, Under the Consumer Rights Act if the goods purchased are found to be damaged upon arrival and is proven not to be the fault of the customer, we will provide either a replacement or refund. Proof of damage must be sent via email.
Prices can be adjusted at any time, Hoverboardstore.co.uk reserve the right to change prices without any prior notice.
Wrong or damaged item received
In a unlikely event that hoverboards and hoverkarts is fault upon delivery please email us directly. We understand how frustrating this can be and want to resolve this as quickly as possible for you. If you’ve received the wrong item you must return the item in the same condition you received it in within 14 days to qualify for a refund or a replacement. For damaged or faulty items please contact us as soon as possible. You’ll need to explain where the fault or damage is located and we’ll then explain what to do next. Please contact us first before returning the item. Do not attempt to fix a faulty or damaged item as this will void the warranty and we will unable to accept any returns.
Item not received
Please accept our apologies if you have not received your item. This happens very rarely but when it does we appreciate how frustrating it can be and will do our best to resolve this as quickly as possible. Before contacting us please leave a reasonable amount of time to allow your delivery to arrive (14 days), our estimated delivery times are shown on our couriers tracking page. Delivery may be delayed by couriers due to busy periods such as Christmas or due to adverse weather conditions. To receive a refund or a replacement product you must contact us within 30 days after you received your dispatch confirmation email.
Using a hoverboard and hoverkart, like all sports, carries an inherent risk of injury, damage to property or even death. You should always wear a helmet, knee, wrist and elbow pads and any other protective equipment to limit your risk. You should use the product within your abilities. Familiarise yourself to stop (slide), mount and dis-mount and don’t board in traffic or other dangerous locations that may increase your risk.
- Promotional Voucher Codes may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion.
- Promotions offers valid upon given date, we reserve the right to end offers at any given time. Anything offered “free” is subject to stock availability at the time of purchase and you are not guaranteed to receive “free” add-on.
Limitation of liability
in no event will hoverboardstore.co.uk be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special consequential damages, to property, injury or loss of life, whatsoever arising out of or connected with the misuse of its products.
During the payment process, we ask for personal information that both identifies you and enables us to communicate with you.
We will use the information you provide only for the following purposes.
* To send you newsletters and details of offers and promotions in which we believe you will be interested.
* To improve the content design and layout of the website.
* To understand the interest and buying behavior of our registered users
* To perform other such general marketing and promotional focused on our products and activities.
Copyright, licence and site access
Hoverboard Store and our logos are registered trademarks of hoverboardstore to be used by Hoverboardstore.co.uk and may not be used by anyone else without our express permission.
Hoverboard Store do not give you any right or interest in any copyright or intellectual property rights in any Product nor the right to copy them.
The copyright in hoverboard store and the content of all the software, website and pages relating to the hoverboardstore.co.uk website is owned by, or licensed to, hoverboardstore, unless otherwise specified and may not be used, copied or altered without our express consent.
Copyright extends to the design, look and feel of hoverboard store, all photographs on it and its marketing materials.
You may use hoverboardstore for private and personal non-commercial use only – i.e., to view, copy and print portions of hoverboardstore for the sole purpose of placing orders. The materials on hoverboardstore may not be used for any other purpose.
HoverboardStore does not make any warranty or representation in respect of any other trademark and the trademarks of the brands featured on hoverboardstore belong to their respective owners.
All trademarks and copyrights are recognised. If you are the copyright owner and we have failed to credit you or you are unhappy with our use of your copyright then please contact us. Our office hours, which constitute a working day, are Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
Hoverboard Store and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible however we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content is accurate complete reliable, or error free.
